MIKAELLA WALKER, LCPC

Mikaella started The Lighthouse Therapy Center in hopes to help people in all stages of life overcome and work through difficulties. She has over 17 years of experience as a therapist. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Mikaella received her Masters in Art in Professional Counseling from McKendree University. She worked in private practice at Family Life Consultants in Collinsville. She  also worked for the Community Resource Center in Centralia and Vandalia, as a mental health therapist and as a SASS coordinator. Mikaella works with all populations and problem areas. However, she has a specialization in working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma using play and art therapy. She is on most insurance panels and is available to see clients Monday through Thursdays both during the day and in the evening.
